업무 개요
머천다이저(MD)는 마켓에서 브랜드 인지도 향상과 매출 증대를 이끄는 핵심 역할을 합니다. 매장 환경을 최적화하고, 본사와 매장 간의 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 통해 고객의 쇼핑 경험을 개선하는 현장 중심 포지션입니다.


주요 업무
• 지역 마켓 등 여러 매장을 방문 및 관리
• 진열 상태 점검, 재고 정리, 유통기한 체크 및 상품 신선도 유지
• 본사 및 매장 직원과 협업하여 디스플레이 기준 및 프로모션 실행
• 여러행사 및 시즌별 프로모션 계획 및 설치
• 판매 현황 모니터링 및 내부 팀과 피드백 공유
• 바이어 및 매장 관리자와의 관계 유지 및 커뮤니케이션
• 필요 시 시식 행사 및 제품 프로모션 지원
• 경쟁사 상품 진열 분석 및 시장 동향 파악


자격 요건
• 한국어 가능자/ 한국어 & 영어 가능자 우대
• 운전 가능자 및 NY/NJ 지역 외근 가능한 분
• 관련 머천다이징 또는 리테일 경험자 우대
• 한국 식품 및 한인 소비자 시장에 대한 이해
• 친화력 있고 대인관계 능력 우수한 분
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) 사용 가능자

Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual Merchandiser (MD) to join our team and support our partner stores across the NY/NJ Korean markets. This role plays a critical part in driving sales, maintaining strong relationships with store managers, and improving the in-store shopping experience for Korean customers.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about Korean food culture, and excited to work in a fast-paced retail field environment.


Responsibilities
• Visit and manage multiple Korean grocery stores across assigned regions
• Monitor shelf inventory, organize displays, rotate stock, and ensure product freshness and visibility
• Coordinate with store staff and headquarters to maintain display standards and promotional execution
• Plan and execute seasonal displays and promotional events
• Track product movement and provide feedback to sales and supply teams
• Build strong relationships with store buyers and managers
• Provide occasional support for product demos and in-store marketing activities
• Analyze competitor merchandising and share insights with internal teams


Qualifications
• Korean speaking required. Bilingual in Korean and English preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute/store-visit throughout NY/NJ (Required)
• Previous merchandising or in-store retail experience preferred
• Basic understanding of Korean food products and Korean-American market culture
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with diverse teams
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus, but not essential
